Did you know you can have your mini painted by a pro? Get your quote

I’m Scott, and I’m an avid gamer and have been since the age of eight. Back then, Dungeons & Dragons was a geek’s game and seen as taboo by many people. I started out as a player then graduated to running my own sessions. Along with gaming came art to help bring scenes to life. Initially it was sketches, then drawings. As I got older, I decided to start painting miniatures.  My initial foray into tiny metal figures did not go well, and I set it off to the side for some time.

When I graduated college, the world of wargaming enticed me through Warhammer. I started painting again but the people I hobbied with left a sour taste in my mouth in regards to painting. After that, I went through a cycle of painting and not painting several times. Then in 2013 miniature painting really called to me and I felt a drive to really be serious about it.  However, it had been a long time since I seriously painted minis and I had to restart the learning process.

This time, I desired to create miniatures that could be played with yet look great on the table. These days there are more ways to learn how to paint minis and learn different techniques to achieve different results. I absorbed this information and used it in a way that worked for me. Even though my works are better than even two years ago, I continue to learn new techniques and tricks of the trade.
